1. Keyboard-Emulated Card Readers

  • Recommended for most businesses: no special integration required.

  • Compatible with Virtual Terminal, Smart Screens, and custom applications.

  • Works from any manufacturer that supports keyboard emulation.

  • Supports both non-encrypted and encrypted readers.


Supported Encrypted Brands:

  • MagTek

  • ID Tech

  • Encrypted readers provide an added layer of security for sensitive transactions.
     

2. Mobile Card Readers

  • Designed for mobile and tablet applications only.

  • Supports MagTek devices with key injection and integration via MagTek SDK.

  • Ideal for on-the-go retail or mobile sales teams.


Important Notes:

  • Not compatible with Virtual Terminal or Smart Screens.

  • Requires custom development and SDK integration.
     

3. POS Terminals

  • Design your own with keyboard-emulated or SDK-based integrations.

  • Developers are responsible for firmware/software integration.

  • Supports magstripe transactions.

4. Receipt Printers

  • Any standard printer compatible with your system can be used.

  • Customization of receipt templates for a specialized layouts.

  1. Keyboard-emulated readers work across all desktops or via mobile (using USB OTG adapters).

  2. Mobile SDK-based readers require development effort.

  3. Mobile-specific readers will not function without SDK integration.

  4. Complete EMV/NFC ready options are available, speak with sales.
